Hello, my name is Paul Sexton. I am a Poet and open mic host in the Dallas,Texas area. April 2003 seemed like it had a lot of poetry going on, so I decided to try to capture some of it in photos. I went to various venues around town, my regular spot, Suenos Sabrosos( The Oak Cliff Circle of Poets),some I visit occasionally, like Spoken Chaos at Lucky's ( unfortunatly now defunct), the late night reading at Bill's Music in Richardson (which some of us from the OCCP visit together as a group when we get enough coffee in us) and the Irving Poetry Society which meets once a month at a park/community center/ gallery in Irving. The Irving group also participated in a festival sponsored by their local library and school district, and we showed up and took a few photos there as well.
